July 10, 2009 by josecope

Waking up naturally is much easier as your body will slowly adjust from deep sleep to calm awakening.

Determine at what time you have to wake up. For the first few days, use an alarm to wake up regularly at the same time. Your body will get into rhythm to wake up regularly at the same time.

Figure out how much sleep you want every day. Adequate sleep is necessary to wake up on time. Try to go bed at night at the same time regularly. It’s a bit difficult to sleep at same time every day but you have to put effort so that it becomes easy after some days.

Make use of the environment around you such as light and sound. Make sure that the sunrise falls on you in the morning. Observe and identify the sounds that you regularly hear in the morning. Make use of them to wake up regularly at the same time in the morning. Also, drink a big glass of water before going to the bed. It will also help.

Use weekends to wake up without alarm. Children or pets are very effective in replacement of an alarm clock. After all, you have to be determined to wake up at correct time. Note the time when you are going to sleep, also think of the time at which you have to wake up for a few seconds before going to bed.

Does Obama’s Stimulus Plan Help Jobless?

January 22, 2009 by josecope

Barack Obama announced his stimulus plan and said the main goal behind his stimulus plan is to create 3 million jobs in the next two years.

It was said that only 20 percent or less of them will be government jobs. So it is obvious to have a doubt on what jobs can a stimulus plan produce?

The nation will not be able to bear another set of fancy jobs. It is already suffering from the recession that was caused by such recruitment in Bush’s reign.

According to the analysis from the Forbes website, the following positions are likely to be produced through stimulus plan.

  • Rebuilding of roads, bridges, transit and rural broadband which may result in producing key jobs like construction manager, civil engineer, telecommunications engineer, CAD drafting specialist.
  • The weakened financial market is expected to produce jobs like auditor, compliance accountant, government regulator, etc.
  • The increased usage of renewable energy production might produce jobs like electrical engineers, power grid managers, bio-fuel chemists, and even mechanical engineers.
  • Modernization of healthcare system may result in jobs like IT specialists, more nurses, software developer, and Information security specialist.

The Other Side of Shakespeare

November 13, 2008 by josecope

How do you answer to a question on who was Shakespeare? Well, when I asked most of the people the same question, I was disappointed of their little knowledge on world’s greatest writer.

How do you answer to a question on who was Shakespeare? Well, when I asked most of the people the same question, I was disappointed of their little knowledge on world’s greatest writer.

But there is other side of Shakespeare. His life, career and mostly his controversies are little bothered by people. Actually it is only controversy but a major one regarding his authorship over his works.

The main factor that draws the skeptics is the vast knowledge of Shakespeare on English language, literature, politics, law, medicine, witch craft, etc. They don’t believe that a person could such vast knowledge without any university education.

Shakespeare married at 18 with a 26-year old pregnant woman and had three children. He died in the year 1616, survived by his wife and two children. He is buried at the Holy Trinity Church of England.

Are Direct Marketing Associations Admirable?

October 21, 2008 by josecope

Do you know what direct marketing is? It is so simple. Do you get any e-mails or phone calls or the advertisement on TV, internet, radio, etc.? These are all part of integrated marketing solution of any direct marketing campaign. Direct marketing helps firms to directly interact with their consumers and thus it provides measurable results and most times successful ones. This is what makes direct marketing services affective type of marketing.

As it is the popular means of marketing, direct marketing services providers has been chosen as a profession for many people all around the world. And there needed some regulatory board to bring all these direct marketing firms together from all around the world. Thus formed is the International Federation of Direct Marketing Associations or IFDMA in 1989. The main objective of this organization is to develop the communication lines between the direct marketers globally and also to promote the ethical conduct of this community.

But there was a controversy over this association as it always came to defend the intrusive and irritating methods of marketing like spam mail, unsolicited calls, etc. Thus it makes it hard to decide whether these direct marketing associations are admirable or not.

US Is Always in Top of the Hit List of Terrorists

October 10, 2008 by josecope

Terrorists are those people who work as main intention to create terror in people. Why does anyone want to create terror in his fellow human being? It is because it is psychology of human to be superior to all. These intentions helped man to take over other living things on earth. Now he has to take over his fellow species. It is obvious that he can’t acquire superiority because no one will withstand being ruled by somebody. Now what he is left with is the only choice to ignite fear of him among them. Of course all the wars were waged with the same reason. Even the recent American war against Afghanistan was to prove American’s superiority over the world.

It is not possible for individual do this trick. So he groups some people around him and talks about the most precious thing they love. He makes them believe that it is in stake and so we have to wage war against it. Like in case of Osama, he talks about religion and says that it is at stake and makes people believe it. For some persons he may offer to give what they like, for example: money or promise of power once he succeeds.

And why US is always in the hit list of these terrorists is because that it is the superior country of the world. So their intention to rule the world is easily achieved when they beat US. Unfortunately it is the innocent people who get destroyed in this process.

Phoenix Find Some Water Proofs On Mars

June 23, 2008 by josecope

After long waiting “Follow the water” in it’s searching of Mars, NASA can finally say that one of its spacecraft has reached out, touched water ice and scooped it up. Now the scientists will hope to answer that did the ice ever melt and turn Mars into a livable place? In 19 (Thursday) Jun photos Phoenix Mars Lander has dug into the Martian soil, some white patches that were seen earlier in the week have shrunk, and eight small chunks have disappeared but still scientists were not sure if the white material was ice or some kind of salt. Because when exposed to air, water ice can change into water vapor, a process known as sublimation. Salt, on the other hand, is not capable of such a vanishing act.

But the scientist Dr. Peter H. Smith of the University of Arizona and mission’s principal investigator said confidently “It must be ice,” Water ice on the surface of Mars is not a new discovery. Scientists have known that the permanent ice cap at Mars’s North Pole is made of ice. In 2002, measurements by the orbiting Mars Odyssey spacecraft found evidence for vastly larger quantities of ice not far beneath the surface. In light of the Odyssey findings, the Phoenix mission was designed to land in the northern arctic plains and dig trenches in the soil into the ice layer, believed to be a few inches under the surface. Still, to actually see the ice was “tremendously exciting,”

Generally liquid water transforms minerals, so impurities in the ice could tell much bout the climate history. While Mars is too cold for liquid water, in the past, if its axis infrequently tipped over, the Polar Regions might have warmed above freezing during the summer. Liquid water is a crucial ingredient for life, and this area may have been, at least intermittently, a habitable environment in Mars’s biologically recent past, in the past 10 million years or so. One of the experiments on the Phoenix consists of tiny ovens to heat samples of the soil and analyze the vapors released. The Phoenix dug the trench on Sunday, dislodging the eight chunks, and it took another photograph of the trench on Thursday.

Meanwhile, digging in a different trench on Thursday, the scoop at the end of the Phoenix’s robotic arm hit a hard surface possibly a hard icy layer that did not yield after three efforts. The hard layer is at the same depth as the white material in the first trench. The robotic arm has a scraper and, if necessary, a small drill to break off pieces of the hard material for analysis in one of the ovens, which would determine the chemical composition. The eventful findings on Thursday follow a day when no science work was performed, because of a glitch with the Phoenix’s computer software. On Tuesday, the spacecraft’s computer memory filled up with thousands of copies of housekeeping data, which prevented science data like photographs from being saved overnight, and the photographs were lost. Engineers spent Wednesday diagnosing the problem.

How TO Keep Your Audience In Attention

May 20, 2008 by josecope

Generally in all gatherings guest speakers are generally invited to highlight the occasion. To make the gathering memorable, guest speakers are selected for some reasons, some according to their popularity and accomplishments. And if possible, the speaker’s profession or line of achievement has to be in some way related to the occasion. To impart a lasting impression to the audience, a speaker must find ways to keep the attention glued to his speech. Here are some simple tips that will help you to keep your audience in attention.

  • Speak in a clear, crisp, comprehensible voice with an enthusiastic tone. Avoid mumbling. Try not to eat the words as if there’s a gum in your mouth.
  • Audience participation may seem to turn your speech into a discussion, but it is one way to confirm effectiveness of what we are saying or offering.
  • More speakers prepare a list of the issues they want to touch on instead of a speech prepared and read word for word. A spontaneous speech aligned on the ideas prepared or written on the list is projected more naturally.
  • Image how the industry will look like 5 or 10 years from now on a positive flight. Be specific and realistic in your projection. If hard work is called for, say so.
  • When we raise an issue, one of the best ways to project it is by citing instances or examples. Correlate the example and the issue clearly.
  • Your speech must be in consonance with the aim of the gathering, touching on issues relevant to its objective and applicable to current needs for the benefit of the majority.
  • Suppose the gathering was organized to save an industry or boost the morale of those that will be directly and indirectly affected by it. Try your best to deliver an inspiring speech.
  • Inject humor into your speech to keep the audience caring and waiting for more. Studies reveal that, when humor is involved, audiences find the speaker interesting to listen to. But be aware not to go beyond the line of humor because this may accidentally embarrass others or be misunderstood by them.
  • Leave a lasting, meaningful message as we wrap up your speech.
